Columbus, Ohio – The Buckeye Ranch, a private, no […]

Columbus, Ohio – The Buckeye Ranch, a private, non-profit provider serving children and families in the Greater Columbus area, recently adopted the Employee Safety Check-In System by Silver Lining Innovation (SLI). The Employee Safety Check-In System is an automated safety system that allows supervisors to verify that caseworkers and community based staff are home safely after each dayʼs appointments.

Rob Peters, Director of Quality Improvement for The Buckeye Ranch worked with SLIʼs Jason Henkel, in implementing the system for their supervisors, caseworkers and community based staff.

“The Buckeye Ranch has been trying for years to find an automated safety system that allows supervisors to verify that caseworkers and community based staff are home safely after each dayʼs appointments,” says Rob Peters with The Buckeye Ranch. “Silver Lining Innovation (SLI) delivered that system with its Employee Safety Check-In Service. Is is very simple to use and it helps us meet our regulatory requirements around employee safety.”

The safety of Social Workers, Caseworkers and other community based staff making field visits is becoming an issue for many organizations working with clients in areas such as child welfare, mental health, domestic violence and the criminal justice system. The SLI Employee Safety Check-In System is a simple, cost effective solution for improving organizationsʼ employee safety standards.
