Jason Henkel, President and Lead Developer
Jason is a father, husband and active community member. His first priority is as a husband and father of two wonderful children. It is his children who got him started volunteering in youth sports programs where he coached for many years and served as a leader in the community recreation league. Through his participation in the youth sports programs he identified a problem – notifying parents when games are canceled, delayed, etc., and built a solution – a notification system that allows the coach to make one call and one text to reach all of the parents, referees, etc.

Jasonʼs latest system creation came from his community connections with The Buckeye Ranch. Concerned about the safety of their caseworkers making field visits, The Buckeye Ranch asked Jason if he could build a system that would allow supervisors to verify that staff was safe at the end of each dayʼs appointments. And so, Jason built the employee safety check-in service.

Jason has over 23 years of professional experience in the Information Technology and Information Security Industry. Working as a Security Consulting Systems Engineer, Director of Security, or a Solutions Architect, he has been responsible for banks, healthcare, insurance companies, retailers, manufacturers, universities, and others to secure their networks and protect customer information and other confidential data. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Toledo.
